The Pennsylvania Dept. of Revenue has released its latest newsletter with reminders of PA’s various tax relief measures, in response to the COVID-19 emergency. Measures include: pilot programs that utilize enforcement resources to help taxpayers comply; continuing flexibility with scheduling audit work, resuming field activity in limited circumstances; extending audit penalty abatement and 90-day interest relief through Dec. 31, 2020; continuing flexible terms for new payment plans; suspending certain automatic enforcement actions (such as for liens and license revocations) and more.
